Presented by: WoWE and Solar Oregon Lucky Lab (NW location) 1945 NW Quimby Portland, ORPlease join us for a networking social co-hosted by the Portland WoWE Chapter and Solar Oregon. This event will feature a joint presentation from WoWE and Solar Oregon members about Green Empowerment, a Portland-based nonprofit that provides clean water and renewable energy to villages in the developing world. Shannon Mahar (WoWE President), Claire Carlson (Solar Oregon Executive Director), and others will present on their involvement with Green Empowerment and the organization's trips to Nicaragua, in which volunteers worked on solar installations for local communities.

Annual Renewable Energy Project Tour

Presented by: Pacific Power and 3Degrees PáTu Wind Farm Wasco, ORJoin us for Pacific Power's tenth annual Blue Sky renewable energy project tour! Want to explore a wind farm, visit a solar project and learn more about these impressive green technologies? Sign up for our guided renewable energy project tour this summer! The 2013 tour will take place on Saturday, July 13, beginning and ending in Hood River, Oregon. The tour will include a visit to PáTu Wind Farm in Wasco, Oregon along with the Turtle Island Foods production facility in Hood River, which features solar panels funded in part by Blue Sky customers, and a green roof. Blue Sky registration: $20 for adults - $15 for Children under 12. Regular registration: $30 for adults - $25 for children under 12.
